Code of Conduct

Cooperative Impact was born from the desire to bring relief to social problems by reconnecting people with their humanity and creating safe spaces for empathetic, human-centered entrepreneurship to thrive.

We are in an unprecedented time in our lives. The communities we once knew and have been integral in shaping seem to have lost their identity. Our connection to the people and places that felt like home is fading.

To bring ourselves, our cities, and our society forward into the unknown, we are creating safe spaces to equip participants with the tools to build the muscles of compassion, vulnerability, imagination, and empathy.

Our intention is to collectively learn to mindfully and cooperatively navigate uncertainty and shape the emerging future with intention. To be a lighthouse that guides people through the rebirth of this great nation is why we exist.

We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any event venue, including talks, workshops, parties, and the various forms of social media. Event participants, speakers, and facilitators violating these rules may be asked to remove themselves from the event without a refund and/or compensation at the discretion of the event organizers.

We view this time-of-pause as a gift. It allows for building deeper relationships with ourselves, it empowers us to build more authentic connections to the people in our communities, and it invites us to reimagine what an ideal world might look like.
